Homegrown couture jewellery house, Krsala, has launched a new collection called the Isvara, which concentrates on stunning temple jewellery. Director of the brand, Samarth Bajaj says, “Isvara means supreme soul in Sanskrit. The supreme soul meaning God or the idea of God is our inspiration for this collection. It resonates power, beauty, compassion, humility and grace.”  The exclusive temple jewellery collection has a signature classic touch that the label is known for. Here, traditional technique and modern concept that blend together harmoniously to make some stunning jewellery. “Since it is Akshaya Tritiya there is a quite a bit of gold used in the jewellery, which gives our customers great value for money,” says Samarth, adding that the patrons can spot rubies, pearls and emeralds in the pieces too, which has been used in a unique manner. “Wearable, not storable,” is how Jagdamba Pearls describes its latest line, the Ira Collection. Avanish Agarwal, managing partner at the MG Road, Hyderabad, outlet says that youngsters are practical when it comes to jewellery. “If they decide to buy gold for saving and investment, they opt for gold coins. If they want to wear it, they would rather buy a contemporary neckpiece or a pair of earrings that can be worn regularly.” Unlike its contemporaries, the Ira Collection uses gemstones and pearls as an intricate part, along with gold.
