Check out Tanishq’s new collection for the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Swayahm. “Each piece of jewellery in the collection is carefully created with an aim to stand as a souvenir of all the personal triumphs and failures because it is these small moments that make all the difference and make a woman who she truly is. These are the moments she ought to celebrate,” says Deepika Tewari, associate vice president of marketing. Swayahm is an assimilation of gold, kundan, polki and diamond jewellery. Almost divine
Homegrown couture jewellery house, Krsala, has launched a new collection called the Isvara, which concentrates on stunning temple jewellery. Director of the brand, Samarth Bajaj says, “Isvara means supreme soul in Sanskrit. The supreme soul meaning God or the idea of God is our inspiration for this collection. It resonates power, beauty, compassion, humility and grace.”  The exclusive temple jewellery collection has a signature classic touch that the label is known for. Here, traditional technique and modern concept that blend together harmoniously to make some stunning jewellery. “Since it is Akshaya Tritiya there is a quite a bit of gold used in the jewellery, which gives our customers great value for money,” says Samarth, adding that the patrons can spot rubies, pearls and emeralds in the pieces too, which has been used in a unique manner. Also, Krsala has a promotional offering for Akshay Tritiya where their diamond rates will be starting at a special price Rs.43,000/- per carat for diamonds. Rs.6 lakh for necklace sets.

Diamonds are forever
Forevermark, the diamond brand from De Beers label, is all set to introduce the Traditional Setting Collection this season, inspired by the rich heritage of Southern India. The diamonds that have been used for this collection have been carefully curated making it absolutely worthy of gifts that can be given to close members of the family and preserved for generations. Highlighting the collection, Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark, says, “For those looking for something special, distinctive and symbolic to celebrate Akshaya Tritiya, the Forevermark Traditional Setting is a perfect choice.” The latest collection offers bangles and studs, in gold and crafted in floral motifs, their 22 KT Earring and stylish three-layered bangles studded with diamonds are elegant and minimalistic to the hilt. Rs.30,000 onwards.

Pearl perfect
“Wearable, not storable,” is how Jagdamba Pearls describes its latest line, the Ira Collection. Avanish Agarwal, managing partner at the MG Road, Hyderabad, outlet says that youngsters are practical when it comes to jewellery. “If they decide to buy gold for saving and investment, they opt for gold coins. If they want to wear it, they would rather buy a contemporary neckpiece or a pair of earrings that can be worn regularly.” Unlike its contemporaries, the Ira Collection uses gemstones and pearls as an intricate part, along with gold. Look out for necklaces, pendants and earrings, handcrafted with pearls and studded with ruby and emeralds. Their collection is available till May 12 at MG road, Madhapur, Kondapur, and L&T Mall Errum Manzil outlets. Rs.30,000 onwards.
