Actress Rashmika Mandanna posted a picture of herself with Vijay Deverakonda to celebrate one year of Geetha Govindam. 

She captioned it: “It’s been a year already.”

The film starring the two actors together for the first time, received great response from critics and audience alike. Written and directed by Parasuram, the film released on August 15, 2018. The plot of the film reads: Vijay Govind, a young lecturer in a college, wishes to get married at the earliest. He tries to woo Geetha, an independent and a level-headed woman, who is not easy to convince.

After Geetha Govindam, Rashmika and Vijay shared the screen space once again in the recently released film, Dear Comrade.
