After a long wait, the teaser of Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is finally out!

The 63-year-old megastar, who plays the role of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in the film, is sure to have his fans and film lovers cheer for the versatile actor. He is seen fighting the Britishers in the teaser, acing the action sequences as well. Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has lent his voice for the Telugu teaser. Netizens have also commented that the teaser gives a lot of Baahubali vibes.

Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on the life of revolutionary Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who was the first rebellious force against British Raj and is set years before the Indian Rebellion of 1857.

The history drama also stars Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty, Ravi Kishan and Tamannaah in important roles. This film also marks the Telugu debut of superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

The film will hit the screens on October 2, 2019 and will be released in five languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
