Superstar Rajinikanth is busy enjoying the success of his latest film Petta but he also has another reason to celebrate as his daughter announced her second wedding. Soundarya Rajinikanth is set to get married to actor and businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi on February 11 in Chennai, and she shared a picture just one week before the wedding with the hashtag BrideModeOn. 

Soundarya, an active user on Twitter and director of films like Kochadaiiyaan and VIP 2, immediately received a lot of wishes from well-wishers as well as her father’s fans, a few days before the wedding, which will see the reception take place on February 12 at their residence in Poes Garden. Soundarya’s mother Latha has reportedly requested heavy police protection so that there isn’t a traffic jam or disturbance caused to people in the area. 

Soundarya was previously married to Chennai-based industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar, but the couple split in 2016 after being married for eight years; they have a son Ved Krishna. Interestingly, while it is Rajinikanth’s daughter’s second marriage, it will also be a second marriage for Vishagan, who made his Tamil film debut with Vanjagar Ulagam.
