Hulk Hogan, born as Terry Bollea, was a professional wrestling icon, who passed away due to cardiac arrest on July 24, 2025. According to medical reports, the cause of death was, "acute myocardial infarction", i.e heart attack.
Hulk Hogan's widowed wife, Sky Daily reportedly wants to sue for medical malpractice. Hulk had undergone a neck operation in May and Sky believes that undisclosed complications from the procedure eventually led to his shocking death.
Hulk Hogan's wife, Sky Daily suspects medical malpractice and is planning to sue at least one of the doctors who were involved during Hulk Hogan's neck operation in May.
According to a statement Sky Daily made to a media outlet, she is of the opinion that Hulk's "phrenic nerve" which controls breathing, had been "compromised" during the operation. Hulk's therapist had also made similar claims similar to Sky, citing medical malpractice, according to reports.
Sky believes that Hulk Hogans death is unprecedented. In a statement to a media outlet about the lawsuit, Sky Daily had said, “We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick. It’s not something that’s an alarming cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak.”
With the death of the WWE icon being treated as not natural, investigation is underway by the Clearwater police. Talking to the media the police had said such a special case has prompted them to "interview multiple witnesses" and ask for medical records. Nothing has been ascertained as of now.
Sky Daily and Hulk Hogan had gotten married two years ago, in 2023. After Hulk's tragic demise, Sky penned a heartfelt goodbye note on Instagram. She wrote, "This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart".
