Former Bigg Boss 13 stars Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana have reignited their public dispute over the circumstances surrounding their 2023 split. The exchange escalated after Himanshi discussed their relationship dynamics during a podcast appearance with Paras Chhabra, prompting a sharp public response from Asim regarding faith, fitness and post-breakup communications.

Asim Riaz denies Himanshi Khurana conversion claims

During the podcast, Himanshi clarified that while she would not label the situation as direct conversion, her former partner frequently highlighted the virtues of his beliefs. “He wanted me to understand it and accept it, but I was not willing,” she said, recalling an internal conflict where she feared losing her spiritual roots and identity.

Reacting on social media, Asim strongly denied ever asking her to change her beliefs. “I never asked anyone to change their religion. Not once. Matter of fact, I was the one who pushed you towards fitness. You've been in this shape only after meeting me,” he stated. Urging her not to bring sensitive personal matters into the public domain, he added, “So please, don’t use religion as a weapon. It’s a deeply sensitive subject, and turning something so personal into a reason for people to hate me is immature and only shows how low you’re willing to go for attention.”

Asim also addressed career and financial speculation, remarking that character is not measured by bank statements or online views. In a subsequent online post, he claimed that Himanshi reached out three months after their December 2023 separation seeking reconciliation, asserting that he possessed message records to support his statement.

The couple met on television and dated for nearly four years before parting ways over differing faiths. While Himanshi later characterised the media reaction as a storm in a teacup, the public exchange demonstrates how unresolved relationship friction continues to draw intense attention.
