Tyler Cameron has had some big personal milestones in the public eye. And now Tyler and his fiancée Tate Madden have announced that they are expecting their first child and even went on to reveal the gender in the middle of the reality show Dancing with the Stars.
The recent episode of the reality television show, Dancing with the Stars was very special for the duo. They went on to make the big reveal during a routine set to ‘Supermarket Flowers’ by Ed Sheeran. The performance quickly shifted to a voiceover by Cameron where he addressed his late mother and then broke the news. Excerpts from the voiceover included Cameron saying, “Hey, mom there’s so much I wish I could tell you…You would have loved the woman I’m going to marry…She’s going to be the most incredible mama, just like you – and we’re going to have a baby.”
The performance was much appreciated not because of the act itself but also for the fact that now there were three heartbeats in the room. The act was dedicated to all mothers and earned Cameron a 32 out of 40 points. In fact, it was a very personal gesture where a tribute was paid to Cameron’s late mother, who passed in 2020 after a brain aneurysm.

The duo started to date around 2024. In fact, he started giving interviews where he mentioned that he was no longer single, although he never revealed his partner’s name back then. He later went official on social media through a post captioned, “found a cute girl to dance with…and then she tried to knock me out…” By 2025 he started putting out clues for an engagement which ultimately took place in August last year. A year later, the couple is going strong and on their way to discover parenthood. Co-host of the show, Alfonso Ribeiro helped them to announce the sex of the girl, live during the show and it was revealed that will soon become parents to a little girl.
