Tennis legend Venus Williams has finally announced her engagement to model and actor Andrea Preti, making it official. Venus had not officially announced the news of her engagement and for the first time, dropped beautiful pictures with her fiancé on Instagram.
Tennis star Venus Williams dropped a carousel of pictures on Instagram, on December 2, 2025, giving a glimpse into her private life with fiancé, model and actor, Andrea Preti.
Sharing new pictures, Venus captioned her post, "Engaged 1/31/25", thus making her engagement official. She subtly flaunted her shiny ring in the pictures of the two lovebirds.
Andrea Peti, commented under the post writing, "18 years old kid !! He is the real BOSS !! HARRY ❤️❤️❤️".
Venus Williams, 45 announced that Andrea, 37 proposed to her earlier this year, on January 31, 2025. However, news of their engagement had been made public months ago but had been awaiting announcement.
In February 2025, Venus was spotted wearing two different on the left hand at various events, which more or less confirmed that she had been engaged.
The tennis player acknowledged her engagement to Andrea on July 22, 2025, after a match at the Mubadala Citi DC Open. On being asked how it was to be engaged, Venus said, "My fiancée is here. He really encouraged me to keep playing. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? It’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time".
Fans are really happy to see their favourite tennis player get engaged, and have let their feelings known in the comments section. "And we’re bursting with happiness for you", wrote one fan. "Not us crying on a tuesday morning", wrote another. Another user commented, "You are a beautiful couple!!".
Venus and Andrea had first been said to be dating in 2024. Their wedding date is yet to be confirmed.
