While Ram Charan tweeted the "world of cinema has lost a crowned jewel," Mahesh Babu stated, "He is deeply saddened by the news."

Kajal Aggarwal meanwhile said, that "news couldn't get any worse" and actress  Tamannah Bhatia also echoed a similar sentiment.
